TORONTO, ON, October 2025 -- Crown Realty Partners (“Crown”) is pleased to announce that its Core Fund of office properties has ranked first in two key peer groups for its 2025 Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (“GRESB”) submission. In addition to taking the top spot as a Regional Sector Leader for the Americas Office: Overall and Non-Listed, the Fund placed within the top 20% of the benchmark globally, achieving the following distinctions:

  • Score of 93, an improvement over its 2024 score;
  • Green Star ranking in performance and management;
  • 5-Star rating for the 7th consecutive year;

“This is a meaningful achievement given the distinguished group of international peers Crown is benchmarked against,” said Tom Idzal, Head of Americas, GRESB. “Being named a Regional Sector Leader and achieving a 5-Star rating for the seventh consecutive year is a testament to Crown’s unwavering focus on sustainability and transparency.”

This marks the seventh consecutive year Crown has reported to GRESB on behalf of its Core Fund.  In addition, Crown has expanded its participation beyond the Core Fund to include two special purpose investment vehicles managed on behalf of institutional investors, both of which earned strong results in their 2025 GRESB Assessments. Each submission outperformed the GRESB and peer group averages across all key components of the submission.

Crown’s alignment with GRESB, a global gold standard for sustainability disclosures, reflects the firm’s commitment to ensuring its operations are held to the highest international standards.

“Crown is an operator, a fiduciary, and at our core, an ROI-focused investor,” said Emily Hanna, Managing Partner.  “Our approach has always been rooted in what’s practical, future-ready, and investment-aligned…not short-term trends.  Transparency in performance keeps us accountable for how we manage our assets today and protect their value over the long term.”

Crown submitted its Core Fund to the Non-Listed Canadian Office: Corporate Core Fund category within GRESB.  Crown also submitted to GRESB on behalf of two separately managed accounts by Crown under the Non-Listed Canadian Office: Corporate Core: Mixed use: Office/Retail and Non-Listed Canadian Office: Corporate Core: Mid-rise Office.
