NAIOP Judges

During the summer, professionals 35 years of age or under from all industry disciplines, as well as GTA-based university students, formed small diverse teams to create development proposals for a prominent site in Toronto. Mimicking a real life experience, the teams worked with the constraints of the actual site. Following a preliminary round of judging, the three finalist teams were selected by experienced industry practitioners. On Awards Night, October 4, 2018 at the Toronto Region Board of Trade, live presentations were given by the finalist teams and a panel of judges selected the first, second and third place teams. The judges’ decisions were based on objective criteria provided at the outset of the competition, plus the depth and quality of the live presentations. Cash prizes will be awarded to all finalist teams.Crown would like to congratulate the Schulich School of Business and University of Toronto Masters students who competed and won against 17 industry teams.
