Crown Appoints Edward Lam as Senior Vice President, Investments

Crown Realty Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Edward Lam as Senior Vice President, Investments, strengthening our senior leadership team as Crown brings its sixth value-add fund to market and expands our separate account mandates.

Reporting to Emily Hanna, Managing Partner, Edward will lead Crown's investment strategy and capital deployment, providing executive oversight of transactions and capital markets activity across the platform. He will identify opportunities where Crown can create value through our integrated platform across the Greater Toronto Area and other select Canadian markets.

Prior to joining Crown, Edward spent more than 15 years in commercial real estate, most recently serving as Vice President, Investments, at one of Canada’s leading pension-backed real estate investment managers, where he led investment strategy and execution across Eastern Canada and select Prairie markets. During his tenure at the firm, Edward led more than $3.5 billion of real estate transactions, including large-scale acquisition programs across the industrial and multi-family sectors.

Edward also served with the 7th Toronto Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery, most recently as a Reconnaissance Officer with 15 Battery.  "Edward brings significant transaction experience, strong investment judgment and a genuine ability to lead,” said Emily Hanna, Managing Partner. “His transaction experience, investment judgment and extensive market relationships strengthen our sourcing and underwriting capabilities, to the benefit of our investors.”
