Together with EnviroCentre, Park of Commerce is leveling up their Eco-Friendly Game introducing a 4-stream sorting station. This upgrade will make it easier than ever to properly sort waste and contribute to a cleaner, greener community.

This new sorting station includes designated streams for organics, paper, glass/metal/plastic and garbage and are being made available in office suites, lobby recycling stations and outdoor collection areas. Crown is providing sorting stations, kitchen catchers and clear educational signage to help tenants easily navigate the new system. To further encourage good habits and use of the newly added stations, individual desk-side garbage and recycling bins will gradually be removed.

On April 29, EnviroCentre hosted an outreach booth in the lobby of 1420 Blair, where tenants had the opportunity to stop by, learn more about the new program and ask questions about proper waste sorting practices.

Through this initiative, our goal is to divert 65% of all waste from landfills by ensuring proper sorting of materials and keeping valuable resources out of landfills. At Crown, we are committed to fostering cleaner, greener and more sustainable communities through ongoing environmental initiatives.

As this program continues to roll out across the complex, we look forward to sharing updates, success stories and helpful tips along the way. We’re excited to see the positive progress already underway and even more excited to see what we can achieve together.
