On February 22nd, the Crown team braved the winter chill to participate in the Coldest Night of the Year walk, raising funds for the Fort York Food Bank (FYFB). This annual event brings communities together to support local charities that help those facing hunger, homelessness, and economic insecurity.
The Fort York Food Bank has been serving the community for 27 years, providing essential food, resources, and advocacy to those in need. With over 4,600 individuals relying on FYFB’s services each week, the need for support has never been greater. Since 2022, Crown team members have been actively volunteering at FYFB, helping to distribute food and offer assistance to families in the Greater Toronto Area.
By joining the Coldest Night of the Year walk, our team reinforced our commitment to fighting food insecurity and supporting FYFB’s mission. Through fundraising efforts and participation, we contributed to ensuring that vulnerable individuals in our city have access to meals and essential support.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, walked, and supported our efforts in this year’s event. Your contributions make a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing food insecurity.
If you’d like to continue supporting The Fort York Food Bank, donations are always welcome.
