As Crown continues to grow, we are delighted to announce the addition of Stefan Teague to Crown’s Partnership. As the newly minted Partner, Leasing, Stefan will lead Crown’s Leasing team responsible for over 10M square feet of office space in the Greater Toronto Area and Greater Ottawa Regions. He will assume daily oversight of all leasing functions including the establishment of annual leasing targets, managing Crown’s Leasing Team and 3rd party leasing agents, and the active involvement in lease negotiations and recommendations to achieve Business Plan goals. In his new role, Stefan will work with Scott Watson, Managing Partner, Acquisitions and Leasing.
Stefan brings with him almost 20 years of industry experience, including 14 years as a top-performing leasing broker. A creative thinker with a national perspective, Stefan consistently uncovers opportunities and delivers outstanding results. He is an expert in value creation and asset positioning across asset classes and has a deep understanding of the changing dynamics in Canada’s urban and suburban markets.
Active in various industry associations, Stefan serves as acting Treasurer of the SIOR Canadian Central Chapter and is a member of the Diversity & Inclusivity committee sponsored by a consortium of industry associations including NAIOP, REALPAC, ULI, SIOR, BOMA and Toronto Crew.
After graduating from Queen’s University in 1995, Stefan began his career in communications and marketing, working with several entrepreneurial software/IT companies and eventually TELUS. In 2003, he launched into commercial real estate, achieving success as an office leasing broker in the GTA suburban market and honing his expertise in agency leasing, tenant rep advisory and property sales. From 2016 to 2021, Stefan served as Market Leader for Cushman & Wakefield ULC in the GTA, leading the firm and more than 700 employees through an incredible period in its evolution, which included the merger of DTZ and Cushman & Wakefield, going public in 2018, the acquisitions of Ashlar Urban and 20 Vic Management and, most recently, navigating the pandemic.
