Les serves as Managing Partner at Crown where he oversees the leasing, property management and customer service functions across the portfolio of assets. A passion for service is the driving force behind every layer at Crown, both internally and externally, and Les is Crown’s biggest advocate of great service to tenants, the foundation of the Team’s approach to property management.
Prior to joining Crown in 2002 Les was the Assistant Vice President, Real Estate, at Crown Life Insurance Company. There, he was responsible for the leasing and property management functions of the Company and oversaw the repositioning of several million square feet of real estate assets across North America.
Active in the real estate community, Les is a past President of the Regina Chapter of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).
Jamie joined Crown in 2007, became a Partner in 2010 and Managing Partner in 2014. Jamie oversees the asset management functions of the portfolio as well as planning, development, and the repositioning and disposition of assets. Jamie is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
Jamie was formerly the Director of Asset Management for Minto Developments. He was responsible for asset management, acquisitions and dispositions of multi-residential properties and was a member of the strategic team for condominium development. Jamie previously served on the Executive Committee of the Urban Land Institute (Toronto).
Partner, Leasing and Marketing
Scott leads the Leasing and Marketing teams across Crown’s portfolio. Scott has over fifteen years of experience in office leasing in both landlord and tenant representation. Since joining Crown in 2013, Scott has internalized leasing and marketing functions for Crown’s portfolio building Crown’s brand within the brokerage community and with tenants as a creative partner to address tenant’s needs first.
Prior to joining Crown Realty Partners, Scott was Senior Vice-President, National Director with Jones Lang LaSalle, a leading national brokerage firm and prior to 2009, a Vice President at Colliers International.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Western Ontario. He is a past winner of the NAIOP Developing Leader Award for those 35 years or under, who distinguish themselves with great promise as leaders in the commercial real estate industry and for their community involvement. Scott is a former board member of NAIOP Greater Toronto.
Emily joined Crown in 2012 and oversees the investment and acquisitions functions of the partnership. Emily holds a Bachelor of Sciences (Honours) degree, Master of Arts and PhD in Economics.
Prior to joining Crown, Emily was Associate Vice President, Investments at Allied REIT (TSX:AP.UN). Working to expand the national platform for the REIT, she concluded a number of acquisitions, including 151 Front Street West, a Wall Street Journal “deal of the week.”
Emily is a recipient of the NAIOP Developing Leaders Award and is an active member of the real estate industry. She has served on the board for Toronto Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and on the Ted Rogers School of Management Real Estate Advisory Council and is a past President of NAIOP Greater Toronto.
Gary Summers is a Property Management veteran with over 30 years of experience. Known for his ability to reposition buildings, Gary’s top priority is increasing efficiencies across Crown’s office portfolio while taking every opportunity to exceed tenant expectations.
Since joining Crown in 2003, Gary has been committed to fostering sustainable practices including the certification of several BOMA BEST and LEED® office buildings including: 5995 Avebury Road, 901 King Street West, 400 University Avenue and others.
Gary serves as Co-Chair of the BOMA Toronto Awards Committee and has acted as a Certificate of Excellence Judge for over 16 years.
Mark Dimmell joined Crown in 2011 as the Director of Finance and was appointed Vice President of Finance in 2017. Mark oversees the preparation of financial statements for all Crown funds and co-ownerships, investor reporting requirements, cash management and accounting policies. Mark obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 2006.
Prior to joining Crown, Mark was the Manager of Corporate Accounting and Director of Financial Reporting, overseeing the consolidation and various reporting requirements for a major REIT. Mark serves on the Membership Committee of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario and the Executive Committee of the Learning Disabilities Association of York Region.
