Crown’s Advisory Board consists of business leaders who meet regularly with Crown’s partners to provide strategic counsel, recommendations and advice to the firm. The Advisory Board provides recommendations to Crown’s partnership on ESG matters, market insights, consulting on investor reporting and potential conflicts of interest. The intelligence and unbiased outside perspective of Crown’s Advisory Board ensures Crown’s strategic decision making is in the best interests of investors, employees, and other stakeholders.

Gary Morassutti

Gary Morassutti

Gary’s vast real estate experience includes an office building development background as well as forty years of investment sales experience in Canada ranging from single property transactions to larger complex portfolios. As Managing Director of the RBC Capital Markets Real Estate Group he was responsible for RBC’s national property brokerage practice. In Canada, Gary is seen as the premier advisor, whose advice is sought on particularly large and complex real estate transactions.

Specializing in office and industrial building sales, Gary has been involved in transacting approximately $18B of office and industrial buildings during the past ten years for various private and institutional clients. In addition, he has extensive experience in the sale of significant urban land development opportunities, including the Toronto Star and Globe & Mail sites. Gary retired from RBC Capital Markets Real Estate Group in Dec 2020 and now serves in various consulting and advisory capacities.

Andrea Mandel-Campbell

Andrea Mandel-Campbell

Andrea is a senior business executive, strategic corporate advisor and communicator. She brings 25 years of corporate, capital markets, political, policy and media experience to advise senior leaders and their organizations on key issues, from public markets fundraising, ESG and corporate reputation to employee engagement and media strategy. She was most recently Senior Vice-President and Practice Lead, Capital Markets, for NATIONAL PR, and launched the Toronto office of New York-based CEO advisory firm, Teneo.

A former Vice-President of Corporate Communications for Kinross Gold, Andrea also has a deep background in politics, having served as a senior advisor to a federal cabinet minister. She began her career as a business journalist, reporting for the Financial Times of London in Latin America, and as a television anchor for CTV’s Business News Network.

Andrea sits on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Centre of Innovation and the Canadian Club of Toronto. She is the author of the best-selling business book, ‘Why Mexicans Don’t Drink Molson: Rescuing Canadian Business from the Suds of Global Obscurity.’

Dan Goguen

Dan Goguen

Dan Goguen is the Vice-President, Real Assets for Vestcor, Inc. As head of the the group, he is responsible for all investment activities in the areas of real estate and  infrastructure.

In 2015, Dan served as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Pension Investment Association of Canada and he currently chairs the PIAC Investment Practices Committee. He also serves as Chair of the Investment Committee for the Université de Moncton (2014 to present).

Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Université de Moncton, obtained his Chartered Accountant’s designation in 1992, is a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals and holds the FRM designation.
