Connecting with Nature: A Naturally Preserved Art Installation

In the bustling offices of a busy city, it can be easy to lose touch with the serene beauty of nature. However, at 400 University we’ve found a unique way to connect our tenants with the planet, through a naturally preserved art installation in the lobby.

The artist, Melanie Billark Comma, created ‘Naturally Preserved Mosses and Flora, Collected Rocks, Clear Acrylics’. The installation is a stunning display of preserved plant life that is arranged in a way that creates a breathtaking natural landscape. The plants are housed in acrylic cases that are scattered throughout the lobby, allowing tenants to pause and admire the beauty of the installation as they go about their daily routines.

In addition to providing a peaceful retreat, the installation also serves as a reminder of the importance of preserving the planet’s natural resources. It’s easy to forget about environmental issues when we’re focused on our daily tasks, but seeing the beauty of nature on a daily basis can help us stay connected and motivated to make a positive impact. The installation is a subtle yet powerful message about the importance of protecting our planet’s resources for future generations.

As we go about our busy days, it’s important to take a moment to pause, appreciate, and reflect upon the beauty that surrounds us.
