The Coldest Night of the Year Walk is fast approaching, and we are thrilled to announce that our Crown team will be participating on February 24th to raise funds for Fort York Food Bank and The Ottawa Mission.
The Fort York Food bank has been around for 26 years and serves more than 4,600 individuals per week. The food bank plays a crucial role in providing food and support to individuals and families struggling with poverty and hunger in our community. Since the spring of 2022, Crown team members have been consistently volunteering to help distribute food to families.
The Ottawa Mission works to help combat homelessness in the Greater Ottawa area, with a wide range of programs and services enabling people to improve their lives and build a brighter future. Since 2022, the Ottawa-based Crown team has been volunteering with the mission to help make and distribute food to families.
By participating in the Coldest Night of the Year Walk, this is another way for our team members to directly contribute to food bank’s mission, ensuring that no one in our city goes to bed hungry.
We invite all employees, friends, and families to join Crown's Coldest Night of the Year Walk team and help us support Fort York Food Bank in their mission to alleviate food insecurity in our community. Together, we can make a significant difference in our community! To join and/or donate to our GTA team click here.
