From September 8th through to October 1st Crown partnered with Willowdale BIA to host Live Music at 5000 Yonge Street. The series brought live music performances every Thursday from 12 pm to 2 pm, and Fridays and Saturdays from 6 pm to 9 pm.
With a wide range of artists, there was a performance for everyone. From traditional Jazz to R&B-based pop, a variety of artists were given a chance to perform in the heart of North York.
Spread out across Yonge Street between Finch Avenue to just Sheppard Avenue local artists were stationed bringing the community together to stroll the neighborhood and support surrounding businesses.
The Live Music series has been a great opportunity to engage both our community and support local artists. We look forward to next year’s installment.
