Crown is pleased to announce that 2233 Argentia Road, Mississauga has successfully recertified its LEED Gold designation. LEED Gold certification distinguishes the building as a top-in-class facility and reinforces Crown’s dedication to meet industry best practices for responsible and efficient building operations and improvements.
Through collaboration with its tenants, Crown was able to elevate 2233 Argentia’s efficiency while reducing its environmental footprint. Enhancements to the building included an LED lighting retrofit (2017), upgrades to the Building Automation System (2019), washroom renovations (2018 and 2019), and most recently the installation new rooftop air handling units.
No stranger to environmental and operational excellence, 2233 Argentia was the first suburban office building in Ontario to receive the BOMA 360 Performance Building certification in 2015, the same year it first earned LEED Gold Certification, and was named a TOBY Award Winner the previous year. Although this 146,000 square foot building is small in stature relative to some of Toronto’s other Performance Buildings, the Crown team would affirm that it is big in heart (and sustainability).
