Crown becomes Canada’s Largest WiredScore Portfolio Certified Landlord

Since 2021, Crown has made a significant commitment to ensuring 100% of our portfolio is WiredScore certified. Now, we are raising the bar once again as we embark on WiredScore Portfolio Certification.

Maintaining a transparent and flexible digital and fibre optic infrastructure within our properties allows us to provide best-in-market service and connectivity. The WiredScore Portfolio designation recognizes landlords who have committed to delivering a best-in-class, technology-enabled experience across a significant portion of their portfolio. We are thrilled to not only be among those recognized globally, but to be recognized as the largest certified portfolio by square footage in Canada.

“By certifying with WiredScore Portfolio, Crown can assess changing technological standards and continually raise the bar. This helps us build resilience and future-proof our portfolio, all while delivering outstanding office premises,” says Scott Watson, Managing Partner, Acquisitions and Leasing at Crown.

WiredScore has given us a simple way to stress test our building infrastructure to make sure we are delivering on our promise to our tenants. We walk the talk, so our tenants and building occupants know exactly what digital and fibre optic infrastructure is at their disposal – allowing for great productivity, collaboration, and connectivity both in-office and for hosting hybrid meetings.

Evaluating our building infrastructure with such scrutiny and implementing great technology has allowed us to improve the overall interaction our occupiers have with buildings, but it also means we are more resilient than ever. The WiredScore certification provides assurance to tenants that the building has reliable, efficient, and resilient digital infrastructure that meets their needs, something Crown will continue to stay committed to.
